Clovis, NM – Starting on October 5, 2018, the Clovis/Curry County Office of Emergency Management will be providing Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. CERT is provided free of charge to anyone 18 or over. CERT members receive 20 hours (October 5th through October 8th from 0900-1600 at Clovis High School Lecture Hall) of initial training. The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will invest $2.5 million in repairs to the Prince Street (U.S. 70) Overpass in Clovis. Repairs will updgrade some of the bridge's critical components to ensure that it can continue to carry heavy loads over it.
